Abstract:
Objective To investigate the status of nursing students' observation ability during probation, so as to provide reference to improve the observation ability. Methods A total of 195 students from 4 classes of grade one in high vocational nursing faculty of 2014 in Jiangsu Vocational College of Medicine were selected as research objects in July 2016 by convenient sampling method. They were investigated with a self-designed nursing students' observation ability during probation scale. Results The score of observation cognition was (3.07±9.79),the score of observation attitude was (3.66±1.13),the score of the quality of observation was (2.69±0.53). Conclusions At present, nursing students have positive attitude to observation, but the observation knowledge and the quality of observation is poor. It is suggested that the clinical teachers should further improve the observation consciousness and skills to guide the students,so as to improve the quality of students' observation.
