Perioperative care for gallbladder benign lesion patients with gallbladder-preserving operations by soft lenses through rectum approach

Abstract:
Objective To sum up the perioperative nursing experience on gallbladder-preserving calculus removed by soft lenses through rectum approach or polyps electrosection so as to provide references for spreading this new technology.Methods The retrospective analysis was performed to the data of 36 gallbladder benign lesion patients with NOTES gallbladder-preserving calculus removed by soft lenses or polyps electrosection in the 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University from December 2014 to July 2016. Besides, the perioperative nursing experience was summarized.Results All operations were completed successfully with the mean time of operations was 3.5 hours. Stones and polyps were taken out smoothly with the amount of bleeding less than 100 ml. There was one patient with biliary fistula. There were no long-term complications during the follow-up of 3 to 12 months after operations.Conclusions Nurses were familiar with surgical procedures and cooperated skilfully along with strict aseptic technique to reduce the incidence of postoperative infection and complications. That was the key for successful operation. Nurses should strengthen perioperative nursing to improve the surgical quality and promote postoperative rehabilitation of patients.
