Methods The topic retrieval was conducted in CNKI and Wanfang Database. The retrieved data was remerged through NoteExpress to obtain eligible documents. Bicomb analysis software was used to analyze the literature characteristics. Results Approximately 4431 Chinese papers that related to diabetes care were published from 1956 to 2016,and most productive in 2011 of 400 papers.
