Abstract:
Objective:To explore and analyze the effect of integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into Psychological Health curriculum of college students.Methods:A total of 360 first-year students majoring in Clinical Medicine of grade 2023 were selected as the research subjects,with classes 7-12 as the control group(n=180)and classes 1-6 as the research group(n=180).The control group was taught according to the mental health course of college students.On this basis,the teaching of the research group was also integrated with Chinese excellent traditional culture.The teaching time was 3 months.The teaching satisfaction and mental health of the two groups were compared.Results:After 3 months of teaching,the satisfaction rate of the research group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).Mental health scores of psychoticism,paranoia,terror,hostility,anxiety,depression,interpersonal sensitivity,compulsion,and somatization in the research group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).There were significant differences in happiness index,depression and anxiety scores of the two groups compared with those before teaching(P<0.01).The happiness index in the research group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).The depression and anxiety scores in the research group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:The integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into Psychological Health curriculum of college students can improve the satisfaction,mental health level,and happiness index of college students,and alleviate depression and anxiety.
