Abstract:
Objective To explore the influence of reflection education mode on blood glucose control and self-efficacy in type 2 diabetes patients. Methods A total of 116 patients with type 2 diabetes treated in Yantai Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University from January 2015 to June 2016 were enrolled in the study. They were divided into control group and experimental group according to the random number table method, with 58 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given routine health education, and patients in the experimental group were given reflective education. The blood glucose indexes and self-efficacy of the two groups were compared. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the level of FPG, P2HBG and glycosylated hemoglobin between the two groups (P>0.05); After intervention, the level of FPG, P2HBG and glycosylated hemoglobin of patients in the two groups decreased compared with those before intervention, and the level of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of self-efficacy of patients in the experimental group was higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions Reflection education mode can improve the control effect of blood glucose and self-efficacy in patients wih type 2 diabetes.
