Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effects of dezocine on the first flatus time with patients undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery. Methods A total of 116 patients undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery were included from January 2015 to June 2015 in our hospital and randomly divided into control group and dezocine group. The patients in control group were given routine care; meanwhile, the patients in dezocine group were given postoperative intramuscular injection of dezocine 7.5 mg immediately after they were back to the ward. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) was used to evaluate the scores at 2 h (T1), 4 h (T2), 6 h (T3), 12 h (T4) and 24 h (T5) after the operation. The first flatus time was recorded. Results The VAS scores of T1, T2 and T3 in dezocine group were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.01). There were no significant differences in the VAS scores of T4 and T5 between two groups, since the drug concentration decreased due to the metabolism over time. The first flatus time in dezocine group was shorter than that in control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.01).Conclusions Intramuscular injection of dezocine 7.5 mg after gynecological laparoscopic surgery can effectively relieve the postoperative pain and shorten the first flatus time.
