Abstract:
Objective To explore the influences of Balint group training on occupational stress and coping style of nurses in cancer hospital.Methods During January 2014 to December 2015, 60 nurses were recruited in a voluntary manner, who were divided into 5 batches attended closed Balint group training, each batch with training 8 times. Nurses stress source scale and simple coping style scale were used to evaluate the training effect before and after training for comparing training effects.Results After the training, the total score of work stressors in nurses decreased from (494.97±198.75) to (420.03±159.70); the positive coping style score was (26.57± 4.37) compared the score of (23.43 ± 4.57)before training (t=3.25, -5.31;P<0.01). Conclusions Balint group training can improve the positive coping style of nurses in cancer hospital, and relieve the occupational stress.
