Abstract:
Objective To explore the practice effect of network platform for health education in inpatients with diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 56 inpatients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) were selected as control group with routine health education from July 2014 to June 2015. A total of 58 inpatients with T2DM were chosen as observation group with education through network platform from July 2015 to June 2016. The treatment compliance, self efficacy and quality of life of patients was compared between two groups after nursing care.Results The treatment compliance of patients in observation group was higher than that in control group after nursing care with a significant difference (P＜0.01). Besides, the improvement of self efficacy and quality of life of patients in observation group was better than those in control group after nursing care with significant differences (P＜0.01).Conclusions Health education through network platform for inpatients with diabetes mellitus can obviously improve treatment compliance, self efficacy and quality of life of patients.
