Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) nursing model on relapse of cerebral hemorrhage and psychosocial adaptability in patients with hypertension. Methods 110 patients with both hypertension and cerebral hemorrhage who were hospitalized in No.2 hospital of Hebei medical university from March 2014 to March 2015 were selected into the study. An FMEA panel was established. The participants were investigated based on FMEA model to explore the underlying failure mode and intervention strategies. Comparing the risk priority number (RPN) and psychosocial adaptability before and after the intervention.Results After the intervention,RPNs for diet,medication,and exercise significantly reduced and the score for psychosocial adaptability highly improved (P<0.05).Conclusions FMEA can effectively reduce patients' relapse of cerebral hemorrhage and improve their psychosocial adaptability.
