Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical symptoms of yellow fever patients, and to explore the related nursing intervention. Methods The clinical data of four initial cases of imported yellow fever was collected. Patient's condition changes were also carefully observed,so as to give them symptomatic support treatment and nursing intervention. Results Symptoms like hyperpyrexia, yellow staining, muscular soreness, dizziness, and bleeding tendency emerged in all of four cases. Two severe cases had severe hepatic and renal failure, and central nervous system damage. Conclusions Yellow fever is an acute disease with clinical manifestations such as fever, liver function damage, bleeding, central nervous system damage. Since there are no effective antiviral drugs for such disease, nurses should pay attention to patients' condition changes, and provide strengthened nursing care and symptomatic treatment. Besides,it is important to enhance public education, vaccination, and individual protection.
