Abstract:
Objective To explore the application effect of multi-layered defense management system in the nursing security incidents of emergency department. Methods The emergency department in our hospital launched a three-month activity of multi-layered defense management system in the nursing security incidents of emergency department in October 2015, and related obvervational index before the activity ( from June to September 2015) and after activity ( from January to April 2016) were compared. Results After the multi-layered defense system construction management, the score of security nursing attitude of nurses in emergency department was (118.83±3.93), and was significantly higher than the score before construction (106.13±3.95) (t=-16.753,P<0.05); the incidence of nursing security events decreased from 11.82% to 3.82% (χ2=46.309,P<0.05);the standby rate of save items was 100%;the target rate of aseptic technique was 93.8%;the qualified rate of catheter care was 87. 5%, and they were all higher than the data before construction (χ2=5.926,4.571,3.865;P<0.05).Conclusions Construction of multi-layered defense management system in the nursing practice of emergency department, can significantly improve the security nursing attitudes and the qualified rate of nursing projects, can reduce the incidence rate of nursing security events, and have effective blocking effect on forming a security incident opportunity ballistic.
