Abstract:
In China, there are large amount of extracorporeal circulation operations,and the number is increasing year by year. Pulmonary complication is a common complication of extracorporeal circulation operation, and it can lead mortality and hospitalization costs increasing; it also can extend ICU stay and total length of hospital stay. Chest physiotherapy is a kind of therapy that use physical technology that to prevent or improve the blocking of respiratory secretions and keep the respiratory tract unobstructed, and prevent or improve pulmonary complications effectively. This paper reviews the necessity, the feasibility of use for nursing staff, the safety of the chest physiotherapy and the common techniques.
