Abstract:
Objective To observe the application effects of continuous nursing in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy, and analysis the effects of continuous nursing on nasopharyngeal cavity flushing compliance in patients. Methods A total of 80 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy in our department from February 2014 to April 2015 were selected and assigned to the observation group and the control group at random. Patients in two groups all were given nasopharyngeal cavity flushing at the beginning of radiotherapy;were given routine nursing and discharge instruction. Patients in the observation group were also given continuous nursing. 3 months after radiotherapy, the nasopharyngeal cavity flushing compliance of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy in two groups was evaluated. Results The nasopharyngeal cavity flushing compliance in observation group was significantly higher than the control group ( P < 0. 05 ) . Conclusions The continuous nursing can improve the nasopharyngeal cavity flushing compliance of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy, and decrease side-effects of radiotherapy. It also can improve patients′life quality and increase the satisfaction to nurses. So it is worth popularizing in clinic.
