Abstract:
To promote Chinese medicine culture globally,it is essential to standardize and accurately translate the terminology used in Chinese medicine classics.Although Chinese medicine translators have made progress in translating the terms found in these classics,misinterpretation to varying degrees has occurred due to the lack of appropriate and reasonable translation methods.This has led to a loss of the original essence,making it challenging for non-Chinese readers to gain a comprehensive understanding of TCM and Chinese culture.Therefore,a systematic approach is needed to translate the terminology of Chinese medicine classics and promote the standardization of classic terms.This paper focuses on enhancing the accuracy of TCM terminology and classics by discussing the methods used to translate Chinese medicine terms and terminology.The aim is to create a professional vocabulary that embodies TCM's unique characteristics while also respecting Western cultural characteristics when translating nouns and terms.The ultimate goal is to present the spiritual core of Chinese culture more precisely during the dissemination of TCM classics and culture abroad.
