Abstract:
Objective To explore the property of skin protection and antimagnetic property of magnetic protective sleeve of Holter monitor .Methods A total of 240 patients examined with Holter monitor were randomly divided into control group ( 120 cases ) and observation group ( 120 cases ) .Patients in control group wore Holter monitor with conventional methods along with routine health education .Unlike conventional methods , patients in observation group wore Holter monitor with self-designed double-deck magnetic protective sleeve along with routine health education .We observed the exceptional situation of local skin and the incidence of pseudo difference 24 hours after examination as well as understood the subjective feelings of patients.Results There were 6 cases with pseudo difference (5.0%) and 12 cases with abnormal skin (10.0%) in observation group.At the same time, there were 20 cases with pseudo difference (16.67%) and 29 cases with abnormal skin ( 24.31%) in control group with statistically significant differences in them between two groups (P <0.05).Besides, the score of degree of comfort, safety, firmness, binding force in observation group were better than those in control group with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusions The application of magnetic protective sleeve can decrease the incidence of pseudo difference of Holter monitor , protect skin well and make patients wore Holter monitor hold a good subjective experience .
