Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effects of solution-focused educational approach to patients after hepatectomy in crisis response capacity.Methods A total of 90 patients after hepatectomy in our hospital from January 201 2 to September 201 4 were selected and divided into control group and observation group (45 patients respectively).Patients in control group received routine nursing while patients in observation group were given solution-focused educational approach based on routine nursing.“Hepatectomy crisis assessment scale”and “Hepatectomy response scale”were used to assess crisis response capacity of patients.Results The crisis response capacity and the scores of emotional,cognitive and behavioral in observation group were lower than those of control group (P <0.05).The ratio of performing confront in observation group and control group were 86.7% and 66.7%,and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusions Solution-focused educational approach could reduce psychological crisis in patients with hepatectomy and help them to have positive coping approaches.
