Abstract:
We summarized the perioperative nursing care of 30 infants with ROP treated with anti-Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (anti-VEGF)by intra-vitreous injection.Preoperative preparations were fully made, such as the disinfection and preheating of radiant warmer , preparation of eyedrops and first-aid equipments, fasting, etc.Effecient nursing care was provided during the procedure , such as topical anesthesia , drawing of anti-VEGF, positioning of the baby , observation of vital signs , and providing appropriate treatment under emergency situations .After operation we focused on babies′eye care , temperature management and nutrional support.At last,30 infants recovered well and were discharged successfully .
