Abstract:
Objective To explore the application and effects of tutorial system in young nurse managers' training.Methods 22 young nurse managers in a first-class hospital who took office between 2013-2014 for less than 1 year were treated as study objects.We implemented tutorial system as training scheme,which included teaming with a mentor according to the requirement,setting mentor duties,supervising the implementation and organizing regular assessment.Results One year after the tutorial system implementation,the department comprehensive evaluation and personal comprehensive evaluation of young nurse managers and their mentors both increased in compared to those before the implementation (P <0.05).Conclusions Tutorial system is conducive to improve the young nurse managers' role transformation and role adaptation,improve their management level,which could achieve complementary compatibility between young nurse managers and their mentors.
