Abstract: Rectus abdominis diastasis(RAD)is a phenomenon in which the rectus abdominis muscles on both sides of the white line of the abdomen separate from each other,causing a series of physiological dysfunction.It is commonly seen in pregnant women and obese individuals.Currently,RAD has gradually attracted the attention of relevant surgeons.There is relatively little research on RAD both domestically and internationally,and there is no unified standard for diagnosis and treatment.This article will summarize the research progress on the diagnosis and treatment methods of rectus abdominis separation by combining domestic and foreign literature.
