Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of comprehensive nursing on the occurrence of bedsore in comatose patients with traumatic brain injury. Methods A total of 174 comatose patients, who had traumatic brain injury and received surgery from July 1st, 2011 to April 30th, 2015 in our hospital, were selected and divided into observation group (87 cases) and control group (87 cases) according to the minimum imbalance index method. The patients of observation group were given the comprehensive nursing care, while the patients of control group only received the routine nursing care. The incidence rate of bedsore and effective cure rate after prognosis were compared between two groups. Results The incidence of bedsore in patients adopted the comprehensive nursing care was 2. 23%,which was lower than 10. 34% in control group patients who used the routine nursing method. The effective cure rate after prognosis of patients in observation group was 100%, which was higher than that of the control group (88. 89%), the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =4. 76,P<0. 05). Conclusions The comprehensive nursing care can effectively reduce the incidence of bedsore in comatose patients with traumatic brain injury, and significantly improve the effective cure rate after prognosis.
