Abstract:
Objective To investigate the nursing efficacy of basic fibroblast growth factor gelatin on radiotherapeutic patients with oral ulcer after tongue squamous cell carcinoma operation. Methods The study investigated 23 radiotherapeutic patients with oral ulcer after tongue squamous cell carcinoma operation from May 2012 to May 2014. The participants were divided into two groups:control group and enhanced group. The patients of control group was normal cared and the patients of enhanced group received basic fibroblast growth factor gelatin based on regular nursing care, and then evaluated the efficacy according to related standards. Results Pain disappearance and oral ulcer healing were observed in both control and enhanced group at 3, 5 and 7 days after therapy, and the enhanced group presented a significant higher efficacy rate (P<0. 05). The overall nursing efficacy rates were 92. 3% and 40. 0% in enhanced and control group (P <0. 05). Conclusions Basic fibroblast growth factor gelatin is effective way for the nursing of radiotherapeutic patients with oral ulcer after tongue squamous cell carcinoma operation.
