Abstract:
Objective To explore the correlation of job burnout and turnover intention among nurses working in Department of Infectious Disease with 3 -10 years work experience. Methods We utilized job burnout scale and turnover questionnaire to investigate 105 nurses with 3 -10 years working in Department of Infectious Disease, and the data of investigation was used by Pearson correlation analysis. Results The nurses with 3-10 work experience presented the negative correlation between job burnout and turnover intention ( r=-0. 195,P<0. 05), and turnover intention was lower compared with the norm of nurses in General Department (P<0. 01). Conclusions The nursing administrator should have an excellent management strategy to decline the job burnout of clinical nurses work in Infectious Disease, enhance the intention of continuing working, and promote the stable development of nurse team construction.
