Abstract:
Objective To explore the practice effects of doctor-nurse cooperating training for interning nurses in General Surgery. Methods A total of 108 nursing students in General Surgery were divided into observation group (n=54, time of internship from October 2013 to September 2014) and control group (n=54, time of internship from September 2012 to September 2013). Nursing students in the observation group received the doctor-nurse cooperating training while nursing students underwent traditional training in the control group. We compared nursing students′the theory and operation scores, the competence as a nurse and satisfaction for training between two groups. Results After the training, the scores of theory and operation and the execution of work procedure in the observation group were higher than those of the control group ( P < 0. 05 ); the communication ability of nursing students in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the same as the satisfaction for training (P<0. 05). Conclusions The doctor-nurse cooperating training can broad the nurse′s knowledge and enhance their clinical practice ability, so this method can promote and utilize in the clinical.
