Abstract:
Objective To explore the application effects of arterial blood collection guided by type-B ultrasound. Methods A total of 62 patients, who demanded to collect arterial blood, were divided into experimental group ( arterial blood collection under type-B ultrasound) and control group ( traditional method) on average by random number table. We compared the success rate of pricking at the first time, pain, length of pricking, complications and patients′ satisfaction. Results The success rate of pricking at the first time, incidence of medium and serious pain, length of pricking, complications and patient′s satisfaction were better than those of the control group (χ2 =7. 884, 5. 010, 3. 867, 9. 226, 6. 369, 6. 590;P<0. 05). Conclusions The arterial blood collection guided by type-B ultrasound has a high success rate and low complication incidences, which is worthy to promote in clinical.
