Abstract: Purpose: To observe the curative effect of succinite preventing and eliminating stone mixture(SPESM) with progesterone to treat ureteral stone. Methods: Experimental group and control group wereestablished. In the experimental group ,20 patients with ureteral stones(≤10 mm in diameter)were treated usingSPESM matching with progesterone. In the control group, 18 patients were treated with SPESE alone. Results :Itwas found that the stone passage rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(85. 1%). There was statistical difference between two groups (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusions: It′s suggested thatSPESM in cooperation with progesterone is efficient in promoting ureteral stone passage. The mechanism of thestone passage was discussed.
