Abstract:
Objective To investigate AIDS knowledge, attitude and behavior′s influencing factors of female floating population in Xi′ an, so as to provide scientific references for AIDS health education and prevention of female floating population. Methods A total of 523 women out of 1 458 floating females from 6 investigation bases had been selected by random method and investigated by questionnaire for general information and AIDS related knowledge, attitude and behavior survey. Results Different age, education background, marriage status, income impacted on the awareness rate of AIDS knowledge among floating females (F = 7. 304,4. 647,8. 465,9. 458;P < 0. 05), and also influenced their attitudes towards AIDS (F = 16. 409, 7. 917,3. 191,4. 625;P < 0. 05). Floating females had more AIDS knowledge, annual income, and the more negative attitudes to AIDS and AIDS people they had. Conclusions Female floating population is a special group, which is a active, far away from their family, and have a high risk of AIDS, so we should carry out targeted health education and attitude guidance and improve their prevention ability of AIDS.
