Abstract:
Objective To explore the effects of disease integrated nursing model on nutrition management of diabetic patients, so as to promote patients′ slef-care and nutriture. Methods A total of 130 diabetic patients were selected and averagely divided into control group and experimental group by computer sequence from January to November 2011. The patients of control group underwent routine nursing, while the patients of experimental group received disease integrated nursing model based on the control group. After 6 months interventions, we compared the results of body mass index ( BMI) , fasting blood glucose ( FBG) , 2 hs postprandial blood sugar ( 2 hs PBS ) , glycosylated hemoglobin ( GH ) , triacylglycerol ( TG ) , and total cholesterol ( TC ) level, and compared mastering knowledge of disease between two groups. Results After 6 months intervention, except BMI, the FBG, 2 hs PBS, GH, TG and TC were ( 6. 21 ± 1. 62 ) mmol/L, (8. 32 ± 2. 41) mmol/L, (6. 43 ± 1. 71)%, (1. 51 ± 0. 38) mmol/L and (5. 01 ± 0. 72) mmol/L in the experimental group which was lower than these of the control group (t=8. 37, 11. 41, 9. 49, 7. 94, 8. 56;P<0. 05). The diet plan, movement plan and medicine knowledge of experimental group were (92. 11 ± 6. 01), (92.03±5.09) and (92.16±4.18) score (t=15.49,17.32,14.79;P<0.05).Conclusions Application of nutrition management and education based on disease integrated nursing model can improve the nurtiture of diabetic patients.
