Analysis and countermeasures of physical examination data for nursing staff in Hangzhou grade A first-class hospital

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the health status of the nursing staff, and provide the basis for carrying out medical and healthcare of nursing staff. Methods The health examination data of 610 nursing staff were collected in 2013. Results The check rate of on-the-job staff was 90. 57%, and 44. 88% of them took all the tests. The rate of positive symptoms or disease was 98. 5%. The top 3 positive symptoms were hyperlipidemia, hyperplasia of mammary gland and thyroid nodules, accounted for 37. 54%, 37. 21% and 30. 16%, respectively. There were significant differences in the thyroid nodules, hyperplasia of mammary gland, overweight or obesity, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, abnormality of gall bladder and kidney in nurses with different age (P<0. 05). Conclusions The nursing staff′s attitude towards physical examination is not serious enough. The health condition of the staff is not optimistic. The healthy concept needs to be further improved, so the nursing mangers should strengthen the health management of nursing staff.
