Abstract:
Objective To probe into the intervention effect analysis of transtheoreical model for weight control in Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome ( OSAHS) patients. Methods A total of 134 OSAHS patients were randomly divided into the intervention group (69 cases) and the control group (65 cases) from November 2013 to January 2014. Patients in the intervention group received transtheoreical model for weight control, and patients in the control group received routine health education. They were evaluated in the aspects of the weight control intention stage, BMI, the number of weekly exercise more than 3 times, neck size and the score of Epworth sleepiness. Results The weight control intention change stage, BMI of the two groups were significantly different(F=22. 45,22. 00;P<0. 01). The number of weekly exercise more than 3 times, neck size and the score of Epworth sleepiness of the two groups were significantly different(χ2/t=45. 32,-2. 32,-2. 06;P<0. 05). Conclusions The transtheoreical model intervention framework can efficiently change the weight control intention stage of the OSAHS patients. It′s an effective method for weight control, and it can reduce the BMI and neck size, also can improve the sleeping quality of the patients.
