Abstract:
Objective To analyze the correlation family function and health beliefs of stroke patients. Methods The questionnaire survey was carried out in 95 stroke patients with family assessment device ( FAD) and health belief scale. The relationship between cerebral stroke patients family function and health beliefs was analyzed with correlation analysis method. Results The total family function score of stroke patients was (133.57 ±14.78), average clause score (2. 20 ± 0. 31). The score of clauses from high to low were the emotional reaction, behavior control, communication, emotional involvement, problem solving, role function, general function. The patients′total health belief score was (109. 27 ± 11. 94), average clauses score (3. 20 ± 0. 35). Each clauses score from high to low was health motivation, self-efficacy, benefits, susceptibility, severity, obstacle. Family function score of each dimension had negative correlation with health belief scores (P<0. 05). Conclusions Stroke patients health belief level needs to be improved, and family function has a promoting effect on health belief. Doctors and nurses should enhance health education. The family function is conducive to the promotion of health belief for patients.
