Abstract:
Objective To explore the differences between readmission chemotherapy patients' requirement and nursing staffs' cognition,so as to adjust nursing service and procedure for quality of care improvement.Methods Totals of 380 chemotherapy patients and 160 nursing staffs had been investigated by self-designed questionnaire to compared the gap between readmission patients' requirement and nursing staffs' cognition from October 2013 to April 2014.Results The total requirement score of readmission patients was (8.25 ± 1.20) comparing the patients' requirement of nursing staffs' cognition (7.02 ± 1.35) (t =16.556,P<0.01).The differences existed at the aspects of readmission nursing,accepted chemo-therapy on time,service attitudes,technique level,specific nursing,medicine introduction,health education,metal health between patients' requirement and nursing staffs' cognition (P < 0.01).The 4 top requirement aspects of readmission patients included fast and convenient admission examination,chemo-therapy on time,service attitudes and technique level,while 4 top patients requirement in nursing staffs' cognition contained admission nursing,service attitudes,technique level and specific nursing.Conclusions The differences exist between readmission multiple courses of chemotherapy patients and nursing staffs cognition.Nursing staffs should improve service methods and adjust service supplement according to patients' requirement,so as to promote the satisfaction of nursing service.
