Abstract:
Objective To probe into the present status and influencing factors of nurses′professional autonomy in the secondary hospitals in Beijing .Methods A total of 364 cilincal nurses from secondary hospitals in Pinggu distrinct in Beijing were recruited and investigated with the Chinese version of Nursing Activities Scale ( NAS) during the period of January to March 2014 .Results The mean score of nurses′professional autonomy was (177.96 ±18.52), which was at a upper-intermediate level.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the comparason among different ages , nursing ages , professional title and nurses′professional automomy had statistical differences (t =6.284,9.700,5.410,6.435, respectively;P <0.05).Conclusions Managers should pay close attention to nurses of lower professional autonomy and take targeted measures to improve the overall professional autonomy level , in order to enhance the quality of nursing .
