Abstract:
Objective To explore the cardiopulmonary resuscitation ( CPR) training method of new nurses of Emergency Department, in order to rapidly improve the level of new nurses in emergency first aid skills. Methods From July 2010 to March 2013, a total of 136 people were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. The control group was given traditional clinical training. The application of the theory of motor skills was applied in experimental group. The training results were compared before training and 1, 2, 6 days and 1 month after training. Results There was no significant difference between the control group and the experimental group before training (P >0. 05). 1,2,6 days and 1 month after training the scores of the experimental group were (92. 57 ± 2. 17), (86. 14 ± 3. 09), (94. 85 ± 2. 00) and (95. 16 ± 2. 08), respectively, those scores of the control group were (83. 13 ± 2. 00), (80. 14 ± 3. 12), (87. 46 ± 2. 11) and (90.53 ±3.00). There were significant differences between two groups (t =2. 431,3. 106,3. 467,2. 431, respectively;P<0. 01). The CPR quality was significantly better of the experimental group than that of control group (P<0. 01). Conclusions Compared to traditional clinical teaching method, applying motor skill theory can improve CPR skills of the new nurses in the Emergency Department.
