Abstract: Objective To explore the role of target management among wound care nurses. Methods This study was conducted in a three grade hospital.Target management theory was applied in wound care nurses.The staffs were performed to analyze the index of workload, teaching and research, in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach.Results Compared with 2012,the rates of increasing in hospital wound treatment, consultation, statisticians journal papers and person time of consultation of the wound were 119.9%,30.3%,150.0%,100.0%,respectively.Each index increases rapidly over the target.The results of scientific research and teaching achievement were significant.Conclusions The target management method can effectively improve the comprehensive capacity of the wound care nurses.
