Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of traction fixation method of pubic balloon ureter on postoperative complication of transurethral resection of the prostate .Methods Selected 367 patients with traction fixation method of pubic balloon ureter from January 2012 to June 2013 as observation group , and 332 patients from July 2010 to December 2011 as control group with thighs fixed method of balloon catheter .Then, the complication of postoperative complication and patients comfort level were observed and compared between two groups . Results The red blood cells in the urine per high power field in observation group was (45.6 ±10.4), and that in control group was (52.0 ±13.1), and the difference was statistically significant ( t =11.104,P <0.05).The incidence of cystospasm , ureter blocking, thrombus of lower extremity veins in observation group (9.8%,6.8%,0.0%) was lower than the control group (28%,10.8%,1.2%), the differences were statistically significant(χ2 =27.041,29.234,4.457, repectively;P<0.05).Conclusions Application of traction fixation method of pubic balloon ureter in transurethral resection of the prostate can reduce the postoperative complications such as blooding , cystospasm, ureter blocking and so on, which also can improve the comfort level of patients.
