Effect of the quality control circle in improving the qualification rate of admission disposal in new patients

Abstract:
Objective To standardize the work processes , and improve the quality of basic nursing , and improve patients’ satisfaction.Methods The quality control group of quality control circle (QCC) was set up in order to improve the qualification rate of admission disposal in new patients .The disposal situation of admission in new patients was investigated and analyzed .The influencing factors of the qualification rate of admission disposal in new patients were found , and were analyzed as the key and emphasis of improvement .Results The missing items of affecting the qualification rate were found and improved , and the qualification rate of admission disposal in new patients was increased from 24%to 88%, the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =41.558,P<0.01), and the average hospitalization days were decreased by 4 days, and the comprehensive score of the satisfaction degree of patients were (92.55 ±1.65),(97.25 ±1.65) before and after the implementation of QCC activities, the difference was statistically significant ( t =13.38, P <0.01 ).Conclusions The scientific management can improve the qualification rate of admission disposal in new patients so as to improve the efficiency of medical service , and increase the patients ’ comfort and satisfaction .
