Abstract:
Intracranial germ cell tumor(IGCT)is an uncommon brain tumor,which is mostly found in male ado-lescents.The histology of IGCT can be divided into germinoma,mature teratoma,immature teratoma,teratoma with somatic-type malignancy,embryonic carcinoma,yolk sac tumor,choriocarcinoma and mixed intracranial germ cell tumor.Since classic high-dose radiotherapy can lead to a variety of long-term adverse effects including neurocogni-tive disorders and hormone secretion disorders,affecting the quality of life,chemotherapy with anti-tumor drugs is gradually increasing and clinicians have faced to more choices in the field of drug selection.
