Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical effect of DuoDERM combined with AquacelAg dressing on the wound after the xanthelasma palpebrarum treatment with laser surgery .Methods One hundred and fourteen patients after the xanthelasma palpebrarum treatment with laser surgery were chosen and were randomly divided into three groups .All patients received the clean of wound surface using the same method , and dressing change according to the wound .The observation group ( n =39 ) received the DuoDERM combined with AquacelAg dressing on the wound , and the control group Ⅰ( n=37 ) received the DuoDERM dressing alone , and the control group Ⅱ( n=38 ) received the traditional gauze dressing change that was sterile gauze to cover wound surface ,keep clean and dry .The growth time of granulation on the wound , the healing time , the scar hyperplasia and the cure rate were compared among three groups .Results The growth time of granulation on the wound and the healing time were respectively (5.35 ±2.18) d, (11.15 ±2.24) d in the observation group, and were better than those of the control group , and the differences were statistically significant ( F=9.000, 5.717, respectively;P<0.05).The cases of scar hyperplasia and the cure rate were respectively 0 cases and 100%in the observation group , and were better than those of control group , and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =13.515,21.351, respectively; P<0.01).Conclusions The clinical effect of DuoDERM combined with AquacelAg dressing on the wound after the xanthelasma palpebrarum treatment with laser surgery is better than the DuoDERM dressing and the traditional gauze dressing change alone , and is worthy of clinical promotion.
