Abstract:
Objective To explore the efficacy of digital rectal enema on tumor patients with constipation during chemotherapy .Methods Two hundred tumor patients with constipation during chemotherapy were divided into the control group and the experimental group according to stratified blocked randomization , each with 100 cases. The control group received the conventional enema , and the experimental group received the digital rectal enema .Results The incidence of successful intubation one time in the experimental group was 98.0%, and was higher than 85.0%in the control group , and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =10.865,P<0.01).The incidence of adverse reactions in the process of intubation was 6% in the experimental group, and was lower than 17%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =5.944, P<0.05).The incidence of severe pain in the experimental group was 5%, and was lower than 17% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (u=-3.505,P<0.01).Conclusions Compared with the conventional enema , the digital rectal enema is safer and more effective , and can reduce the patient ’ s suffering, and bears a great value in clinical practice .
