Abstract:
Objective To explore the application effect of time management on job burnout of nurses in department of psychiatric .Methods One hundred and six nurses in department of psychiatric received the time management intervention , and the work efficiency , time management and job burnout were compared before and after the intervention through the work time value , adolescence time management disposition inventory ( ATMD) and Maslach burnout inventory (MBI).Results The average work time was (82.27 ±12.78) min/bed before the intervention, and were respectively (78.13 ±11.92), (74.74 ±11.75)min/bed one and six months after the intervention, and the differences were statistically significant (t=8.336,7.637,respectively;P<0.01). The total score of ATMD was (145.91 ±29.28) before the intervention, and was (190.83 ±13.68) after the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant (F=6.325,P<0.01).The scores of job burnout including the emotional exhaustion and depersonalization tendency after the intervention were respectively (23.2 ±6.30), (5.85 ±2.49), and were higher than those before the intervention , and the differences were statistically significant (F=6.494, 4.386, respectively;P<0.05).Conclusions The implementation of time management intervention can improve nurses ’ ability of time management in department of psychiatric , and improve their work efficiency , and reduce the job burnout .
