Effect of primary nurses’ quantitative assessment of nursing ability grades on nurses’ performances in ;the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics

Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of primary nurses ’ quantitative assessment of nursing ability grades on nurses ’ performances .Methods The primary nurses were divided into four nursing ability grades according to the primary nurses ’ quantitative assessment of nursing ability grades .The primary nurses carried out the corresponding clinical nursing according to the different nursing ability grades , and the performances pay was allocated according to the nursing ability grades .The satisfaction of patients , the quality of nursing service and self-quality of nurses were evaluated before and after the implementation .Results The scores of satisfaction of patients , the quality of comprehensive nursing , the specialized theory test , the specialized nursing operation skill test were respectively (99.06 ±1.72), (95.56 ±1.90), (88.56 ±1.72), (84.56 ±1.93) after the implementation, and were higher than (96.56 ±2.72), (91.56 ±1.92), (81.56 ± 1.62), (79.56 ±1.82) before the implementation, and the differences were statistically significant ( t =7.624, 4.680, 7.740, 8.610, respectively; P <0.05).The number of nursing paper was 23 after the implementation , and were higher than 7 before the implementation , the number of nursing adverse event were released to 3 eases after the implementation and were lower than 11 cases before the implementation , and the difference were statistically significant (χ2 =4.320, 4.116; P <0.05 ).Conclusions Implementing the primary nurses’ quantitative assessment of nursing ability grades in the nursing management can improve the work performances and self-quality of nurses , and promote the quality of nursing service , which is objective , effective and easy-handing and worthy of promotion .
