Abstract:
Objective To analyze the effect of immune-enhancing enteral diets ( IEDs ) synchronous intervention on inflammatory response and prognosis of patients with gastrointestinal cancer after operation . Methods Fifty patients with gastrointestinal malignant tumor after operation from October 2009 to November 2012 were divided into the observation group and control group according to the stratified random grouping , each with 25 cases. The observation group received the IEDs synchronous intervention , and the control group received the routine enteral diets intervention .The indicators of blood serum protein including total protein , albumin, prealbumin, ferritin, indicators of immune such as IgG , IgM, IgA, and total lymphocyte count , and markers of inflammatory such as IL-6 and CRP were detected , and the complications of patients were recorded before and after the operation. Results The content of albumin in the observation group was respectively (36.03 ±6.59), (39.46 ±6.01)g/L on the fifth and ninth day after the operation, which was higher than (29.45 ±4.47), (30.35 ±6.34)g/L in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (t=4.132, 5.214, respectively;P<0.01).The content of transferring in the observation group was (3.55 ±1.07) g/L on the ninth day after the operation, which was higher than (2.96 ±0.97)g/L in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (t=2.043, P<0.05).The IgG and IgA in the observation group was respectively (15.59 ±4.14), (4.53 ±2.13)g/L on the ninth day after the operation, which was higher than (11.96 ± 2.49), (2.68 ±1.05)g/L in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (t=3.757, 3.895,respectively;P<0.01).The concentration of IL-6 and CRP in the observation group was respectively (135.38 ±33.02)pg/ml, (7.78 ±3.53)mg/L on the ninth day after the operation, which was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01).The cases of complication in the observation group were 7 cases, which were lower than 14 cases in the control group , and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =4.023, P<0.05).Conclusions IEDs can significantly reduce the inflammatory reaction induced by trauma in the patients with gastrointestinal cancer after operation , accelerate the synthesis of albumin and transferring , promote the recovery of intestinal function , improve the prognosis of patients .
