Abstract:
Objective By conducting a comprehensive investigation of diseases,mathematical statistics and documentation of nearly two years of emergency patients in Shenzhen city.To understanding the distribution and characteristics of the emergency diseases in Shenzhen,and to provide reference to the hospital for rational allocation of resources and provide reference information to reduce acute disease and the incidence of critical illness.Methods The patients were chosen from January 2011 to December 2012 in emergency of Shenzhen People' s Hospital.The patients' sex,ages,visiting time,diagnosis and so on were recorded by doctors in the computer.Power Build8.0 programming software was used for the data and SQLSERVER2005 established the database.Excel2003 was used for data management,SPSS 13.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results Comprehensive analysis of the results showed that in Shenzhen city,the patients who were less than 18 years old accounted for 50.7％ of the total cases; the patients were more from April to September,were up to 216136 people,and accounted for 55％ ; the patients who had upper respiratory tract infection accounted for more than 30％.Conclusions The study reveals the composition and seasonal distribution of emergency in Shenzhen City so as to provide the basis for the implementation of flexible layout in emergency,nursing management and nursing skills training.Clinical management should predictably prepare equipment and site construction in order to improve work efficiency and success rate of emergency.
