Abstract:
Chronic wounds are chronic diseases with various causes, complex pathogenesis, prolonged disease and seriously affecting the quality of life of patients. Routine surgical treatment is often not effective, causing huge economic burden to patients′ individuals, families and society. In recent years, with the deepening of research, the application of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) in chronic wound treatment has attracted more and more attention at home and abroad. This paper aims to review the development of PRF, analyzing the underlying mechanisms of promoting chronic wound healing, and deeply explore its practical application in various types of chronic wound treatment, in order to provide new ideas and strategies for the treatment field of chronic wound.
