Effect of nursing information technology on the quality control of nursing bulks of patients with severe burn

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of nursing information technology on the quality control of nursing bulks of patients with severe bum.Methods Monitored the quality of several nursing aspects such as identifying patients,writing nursing documents,nursing critical patients as well as the key nursing segments by using nursing information technology.Results The quality scores of critical care,basic nursing,document writing,and disinfection isolation were (99.34 ± 0.48),(99.52 ± 0.29),(98.20 ± 0.65),(99.49 ± 0.39),respectively,after the nursing information technology used,and (98.60 ± 0.63),(99.02 ± 0.41),(97.54 ± 0.92),(98.50 ± 0.66),respectively,before,and the differences were statistically significant (t =-3.04,-3.61,-2.03,-4.36,respectively;P ＜ 0.05).As well as the incidence of adverse events was significantly reduced after the nursing information technology used (1.4％ vs 8.1％ ; x2 =6.817,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Nursing information technology is helpful to improve the quality of nursing bulks of patients with severe burn.
