Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of bundle care on the life quality of post-operation patients with gynecological cancer. Methods Totals of 200 patients with gynecological cancer were recruited and randomly divided into observation group (n =100) and control group (n =100).Control group received the routine nursing, while the observation group received the bundle care on the basis of routine nursing. The life quality scale for cancer patients (EORTC QLQ-C30) was used to investigate respectively in the day before the operation and 3 months after they discharged from hospital. Results No significant difference was found in the scores of foundation, important symptoms, and others between the two groups before the intervention (P > 0.05).After 3 months of the intervention, total score of EORTC QLQ-C30 [(48.03 ± 7.39) vs (57.13 ± 9.18)],the mean score in functional domain [(51.01 ± 7.84) vs (59.41 ± 11.29)],the mean score in important symptoms [(38.69 ± 9.32) vs (44.79 ± 12.80)],and the mean score in economy domain [(61.21 ± 20.99) vs (80.52 ±22.24)] in observation group was better than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (t =17.505,4.461,4.674,19.013,respectively; P < 0.05).Conclusions Bundle care in the post-operation patients with gynecological cancer can promote their life quality.
