- Abstract: Intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis (ICAS) is closely associated with cognitive impairment and dementia. This article reviews the manifestations, mechanisms, and interventions of cognitive impairment in patients with ICAS, aiming at increasing attention to ICAS, early identification and intervention, and delaying the occurrence and deterioration of cognitive impairment.
