Present situation survey of community nursing human resources in Jilin Province

Abstract:
Objective To understand the status of Jilin Province community care human resources and job training so as to provide a scientific basis for optimizing targeted community nursing human resources for the implementation of job training.Methods Cross-sectional study in non-experimental study using cluster sampling method was conducted,the comparative analysis of the study.And 600 community nurses in three communities were investigated with the questionnaire of "Jilin Province community nursing staff post training needs".Results Six hundreds questionnaires were distributed and 533 were retrieved with a effective response rate of 88.83%.Among 533 community nurses,the community nurse of undergraduate and above education background accounted for only 6.6%,failure in obtain the nurse qualification certificate nurses accounted for 10.3%,41.8% of the nurses did not participate in the training,community nurses' knowledge and skills in master the situation was not ideal,the higher demand items were common basic nursing technique,basic knowledge and skills of pre-hospital care,planned immunization,knowledge and skills of vaccinate,and measurement method of children ' s physique.Conclusions Community nursing human resources in Jilin Province structure is irrational,and the implementation of job training is imperfection.The optimal configuration of human resources should be enhanced according to master and demand of the nurses.
