Effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on postoperative pain of the patients in otorhinolaryngology department

Abstract:
Objective To study the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on postoperative pain of the patients in the department of otorhinolaryngology.Methods Totals of 135 patients were randomly divided into the intervention group (n =68) and control group (n =67).Control group were adopted the routine nursing,while the intervention group were adopted both the routine nursing and a line of comprehensive nursing intervention.Then,the postoperative pain and patients' satisfaction rate were analyzed.Results The case number of postoperative pain of grade 0,Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ respectively was 4,55,8,1 in intervention group,and that in control group respectively was 1,42,19,5,and the difference was statistically (x2 =10.67,P < 0.05).The patients' satisfaction of intervention group was higher than that in control group (97.05 % vs 86.55%;x2 =4.96,P < 0.05).Conclusions Comprehensive nursing intervention for patients undergoing otorhinolaryngological surgery can relieve patients' postoperative pain,and improve patients' satisfaction.
