Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the effect of therapeutic communication on anxiety caused by diagnosis of suspicious malignant tumor by PET-CT.Methods Totals of 55 anxious patients diagnosed of suspicious malignant tumor by PET-CT were enrolled in the study.All the patients received routine clinical examination and therapeutic communication.The self-roting anxiety scale was used to conducted the anxiety situation of patients before intervenfion and after two weeks intervention.Results After the intervention,the patients ' anxiety scores were significantly lower than that before [(57.1 ±9.7) vs (38.6 ±7.2),t =12.5,P ＜0.01].Conclusions Therapeutic communication can effectively relieve the anxiety of patients caused by diagnosis of suspicious malignant tumor by PET-CT.
